The Green Belt

The house is a short drive south from the village of Gerrards Cross. Gerrards Cross is to the west of London just outside the M25. It is very well placed for access to all the businesses which have grown up along the M4 corridor. The area is well connected and well preserved because it forms part of the Green Belt.
The Green belt forms a ring around London. It was designed to be a natural buffer zone which helps supply fresh air to the city and to limit urban sprawl.

Countryside living

Aldanita is a short walk from Stoke Poges Common. The common is a prime example of Lowland Heath and as such is protected from interference. Many rare plants and animals are thriving here. It is also a great place to go horse riding.
This is a beautiful semi-rural setting with a few remaining farms, plenty of livery stables and many prestigeous houses.
